I am Rabbi Ehud Bandel, the first “Sabra” to be ordained in Israel as a Conservative Rabbi. For eight years I headed the Masorti Movement and served as its President and CEO. I then served as rabbi of the Conservative congregation of Melbourne, Australia.

Currently, I work exclusively as Marriage and Bar/Bat Mitzvah Officiant.

The ceremony I do is a traditional service with lots of singing and family participation. I have my own prayer books which are very user-friendly and I conduct the service with warmth and enthusiasm. Peretz Rodman is an American-Israeli rabbi, educator, writer, and translator with decades of experience helping individuals, families, and communities find and build their own connections to Jewish culture, practice, and history, and to the Jewish people worldwide. His approach to bar/bat mitzvah and other Jewish life cycle events is to tailor each experience to the needs, interests, and abilities of the people involved, within the guidelines of Jewish law and tradition. Many families have returned to have Peretz celebrate with them a second and even third time.
